Navigational Risk Assessment

In June 2008, Shannon Foynes Port Company commissioned what it called a "Risk Assessment of Marine Operations at LNG Terminal for Shannon Estuary".

This is NOT a Quantitative Risk Assessment of an LNG spill on water - rather it really only proves that LNG tankers can travel the Estuary. We feel that this risk assessment was done in bad faith and in spite of having intially being told we would be invited to participate in this assessment, were finally excluded from it.
